Neath the Arizona Skies
One of the most beautiful Hollywood legends has it that a very young John Wayne met the legendary gunfighter Wyatt Earp on the set of John Ford's film 'Mother Machree'. According to legend, that encounter left such a mark on Wayne that he decided to take on his gait and mannerisms to create the film icon that we all remember today and which was immortalized in classics such as the one in question, directed by Harry L. Fraser (with whom he would later team up again in 'Randy Rides Alone').
