Así es que cincuenta años después, querría hoy revivir, sin nostalgia, si ello fuera posible, aquella primera clase del curso 1971- 1972 en la que, consecuente con el modo en el que pensaba afrontar la asignatura, me propuse iniciar a los estudiantes en la arquitectura hablándoles de la columna.

Con este trabajo los autores han pretendido generar un espacio que promueva el acercamiento comprensivo a la identificación de la estructura y elementos de la anatomía del sistema nervioso. La representación descriptiva de cada una de estas estructuras y el modo propuesto para su interpretación y aprendizaje significativo está orientada a potenciar el pensamiento racional, resignificando los procesos analíticos-interpretativos y la transferencia teórica de los conocimientos a través de modos no rutinarios de racionalidad.
