When the Procedures in Cosmetic Dermatology series was envisioned almost two decades ago, injectables and laser procedures were perceived as the core elements of cosmetic practice. Since then, cosmetic dermatology has grown into a much broader category, with the relevant expertise of dermatologists being similarly vast. As a result, beyond updating and expanding existing volumes in this series, from time to time, we have added several new topics of importance. Now, it is our pleasure and privilege to introduce this text on Hair Restoration.
